Video goodness – Band Camp, December 2006

Written by Herra Honkonen on Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

One of our band traditions are Band Camps, long weekends spent in Herra Haapanen’s homestead in middle of the beautiful Finnish countryside. We take over the sauna building to play songs, create new material, sauna, eat well, swim, drink and relax. There are several Band Camps planned for the coming summer, during which we will be working on the new album.

Here’s some video goodness from the previous Band Camp, held in last December. The weather was rainy and bleak. It was in the time of the year when there is very little light outside even during the day. The sun is above the horizon for only a few hours, the weather is usually rainy and this year there even wasn’t any snow on the ground. This made the world pitch black during the night, gloomy and unreal during the daytime. A perfect time to hole up in a cozy cabin with friends and instruments, and lose the track of time.
